"Of all the things I'll ever do in my lifetime I can promise you this...you my loves are by far my biggest and most proud accomplishment." - Jessica Hatcher Hello there lovely people. It's been a while. Mother's Day has inspired me to write a new post. This year..for some reason..I feel more than blessed. It was an eventful day. Filled with crying 2 year olds, horrible tantrums, and even a sick little babe. It's so funny to me how at the end of each day once the kids are asleep I sit and think about everything that has happened that day. I think to myself "I survived" LOL. No joke though. Motherhood is all about surviving each day and loving every minute of it. I can honestly say there is no better feeling than the love I receive from my children. My two year old has the biggest heart. He loves to grab my face and make me look him dead in the eyes and then he will plant a big kiss on me. That feeling right there is worth every tantrum, every sleepless night, and every rotten moment he has. My 7 month old has completely stolen my heart though. He has this face that melts every bone in my body. He can shoot one smile my way and I'm a puddle on the floor. Being a mom, most days are hard...and less than glorious I might add...But there is no greater feeling than when you love someone so much you feel like your heart could just explode out of your chest. To my little babes...I love you so much. I could not live this life without you and I hope I never have to. I am the best me because of you. YOU make me better, you make me strong, YOU make me a mom. And for that, I could never put into words how thankful I am for YOU. I celebrate Mother's Day today because you both made me a mommy. I wouldn't be the person I am today without your sweet faces. Stay sweet my little loves.
Love, Mom
